Can you use a regular rifle scope for an encore 209x50 barrel? I have to ask because around here they sale muzzleloader/shotgun scopes. They are usually 1.5 or 2.5 powers. The glass in them are terrible.

The muzzelloader/shotgun scopes have more eye relief and can take more recoil than standard scopes. But if you have a scope that'll take the recoil there's no reason you can't use it.

yes...I have a Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 on my Knight Disc...

Leupold makes muzzleloader/shotgun scopes. They are great, I have them on my muzzleloader/shotguns. I have the 2X7X33mm.
