Hog with a 25-06 Ultra
«

I bought myself a 25-06 Ultra Rifle about 4 years ago. I took a smal buck with it the first year, but haven't had a chance to take anything else with it til this evening.
I shot this BarBQ hog at about 50 yards with a Winchester 120 grain Positive Expanding Point right behind the shoulder. Distance traveled was from her belly to the ground.
This post probably could go else where on this board, but I just thought I'd brag on my rifle here a little.

Great story...
May I suggest you try the Sierra 100 Grain flat base bullet with some H4831 or IMR 4359 and see what you think....Fast, Flat and ACCURATE in every 25-06 I have owned. I have take a Bunch of Deer and Elk with that and they are just like your hog....to the ground.

tcman, I would love to try your recipes, but I have never gotten into reloading . Thought about it, but never made the plunge.
