beaver 101 ????'s

few questions on beaver trapping.  first off i have no large size body grippers and was wondering how much difference there is between the 280's and 330's.  next i plan on making castor mound sets on a mid sized creek with no visible dam or lodge but i do see alot of slides going from the creek to the corn.  i planning on purchasing 4 body grippers to start off with and maybe try some snares.  will one lure suffice or should i  use 2 different lures.  any help would be greatly appreciated!  as this will be my first try for beaver this yr.  just to let you know our beaver season starts dec 27 so i have a couple months to get ready

330s give you a bigger window for the beaver, you will get less resistance than you would using 280s.
95% of my beaver are taken at castor mounds using 330s.I also alternate my lures using mm#1 at the first set and mm#2 at the next.I do this right down the line, both are castor based, but I give the beaver a choice---it works well.
