Question Asa?
« on: October 26, 2005, 03:56:31 PM »
There was a fellow with the last name of Thompson that  i believe  trapped with Jewett off and on.  Does that ring a bell at all?   I know he dabbled  abit in lure making also.    I was trying to remember his first name...

Tom i believe it was .... he was a short fellow and  advocated 10 -12 feet of chain on bvr traps..... man if bvr wrapped that around a  feed bed, you would never get him out  especially in winter...  I think he made yote and fox lure but not sure...  Last time i saw him was when Minn had their rondy  and lightning struck in broad daylight  in  middle of field  during a  cannine demo out there.   I believe Jewett or Thompson had a live yote to show how canines worked sets.. it was interesting... plus where lightning struck  there was a huge x in  sod  with sod peeled out both ways and laying  on top of grass.
