I was wondering would polishing the bore on my sidekick be a good thing. I know this probably needs to be in the ML section, but I was just thinkin' about it! :roll:

Yup, it's just as important in a ML as a CF bore. I used to shoot a lot of round ball muzzleloaders, using fine valve grinding compound on the patches for the first dozen or two shots was used to smooth the bore. Kind of a poor man's Tubb's Final Finish!!
