Dunno unless it's that evil number of posts you have, 666. Need to make another real fast.  :)

Seriously I honestly don't know. Every once in awhile folks will ask the same question. I cannot duplicate the problem. Even when I log in as them it doesn't happen. My best guess is you're having a problem with your connection thru your ISP to the GBO server.

Some while back I had a tree that grew up too big in front of my satellite dish and I was getting that message way too much. Matt checked things out for me and told me the tree had to go. Man did I hate to see that tree go as I loved my river birch tree and where it was. but he convinced me. We cut it down and I've not seen the message since.

It's not necessarily a problem with your ISP or my server but with the chain of connections you have to go thru to get from one to the other.

I send and receive many PMs daily and members as a whole send and receive hundreds daily.

Wish I had a better answer but I honestly don't. It's not your account and for sure it's not the GBO server. Those are the only two factors I have any control over.

Don't think it has anything to do with session length. That only applies to how long you can sit idle without moving data. At present that's 20 minutes which happens to be the max the software will allow. Can't change it for a longer time.

I was thinking that he was a slow typer so the while he was typing away, his session timed out on him.  Then when he clicked "submit post," or whatever, he had no active sessions - thus "invalid_session."

That only happens to me, cause, well-I can only type with one finger.
I have seen his post so I am pretty sure he is around.

You really shouldn't get an invalid session error for taking too much time I don't think. It will just ask you to log in. Well that's what I think anyway.

But the way I avoid that happened to me when I get long winded is to open another window. Click on FILE, then select NEW and WINDOW. Then every 10 or 15 minutes MAX move some data in that second window. Don't matter what, just click on some thing so data is moved from the server. Then go back to what you're doing in windown number one. You can keep that up as long as you need to in order to get typed what you're wanting to say.

I just sent 2 messages, made sure I didn't go over 20 minutes, they both went out. I guess I was taking too long to type. POWDERMAN.  :D  :D
