Sounds like a great idea. Survival covers so many different areas, something as simple as educating a traveler that they need to include some food, water, a blanket or two, flashlight, first aid kit when traveling, especially during winter months.
I got caught in a snow storm in New Mexico several years ago. I was prepared, but a family that was stranded was not. I had a cab over camper on my pick up, it had heat and was stocked with food. It was crowded, but the man and wife and their four children survived because I invited them in. This family had left their home in Albuquerque and was traveling to El Paso, TX. It was mid December, a couple of the children only had light sweaters. Who knows what may have happen to them had I not been there.
