Unusual results

Took my two 22LR guns out today and was trying out some new ammo.  MIxed results.

The first gun was my OLD Marlin/Glenfield 75, 22LR semi auto.  For those that never heard of it, picture a Ruger 10/22 with a tubular magazine and you have it.

I've had this rifle nearly 40 years and it is showing wear.  Some ammo jams up in it.  Today I was trying CCI Velociter in the M/G and CCI Stinger in my Henry.  The M/G was topped with a 4X scope and open sights on the Henry.

My M/G loved the Velociters and the Henry equally with the Stingers.  here's the rub.

I was also trying out some Sub-sonic ammo as well.  In the M/G they hit virtually same POI, just about 3/4" low.  This was at 25yds, by the way.  The Henry, threw the sub-sonics about 5" low and 2" left?????

I have no idea why the big difference in the two rifles.  Man that was WAY off.  The sub-sonics barely made more noise than the action cycling.  Very quiet!

By the way, wasn't there a thread here about what happened to rimfirecentral.com?  Maybe it was another forum.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!
