I'm thinking of buying a .375h&H barrel. Does anyone have opinions on what style stock best handles the felt recoil of this barrel. I've shot a 375H&H in a Win Mod 70 before, but never in an Encore. Any thoughts are appreciated. :grin:

I like the Walnut stocks. I have one on my 416 Rigby Encore. I also installed a Simms recoil pad and mercury recoil suppressor. Kick less than my 300 Win Mag.

Stay away from the synthetic stocks with the 375 H&H.

Either the standard Encore stock or the thumbhole stock. I like the Standard though with the heavy kickers.
