Do any of you eat the animals you catch? I don't mean a skunk, of course, but other animals (bobcat, coyote, fox, raccoon, etc).
Are there any videos/books out there to teach how to skin each species?
I've shot many a sassy bandit with just my pistol!

I don't make it a habit to eat my catch but I have had muskrat a few times and I had beaver once. The raccoons are ok if they are prepared right. I have heard of a few people who eat bobcats but that might not be true

THere is a video called after the catch its about 4 hours and it shows you how to skin fox, yote, coon, bobcat, skunk, otter, mink, rats and beaver you can find it at minnesota trapline products

Hope this helps
total for this year so far
3 grinners
2 coyotes
4 coons and
1 skunk

 so far
