What would you build with a

chunk of 1018, round bar  5-inches by 16-inches,

i swear i saw a boat howitzer inside it screaming to come out,

what size would you make the powder chamber?

would you have a larger bore and smaller powder chamber?

looking for ideas,
as i can pic this up really cheap,

Depends on final external dimensions, but how about 1.72" bore with 1" chamber?  Could shoot golf balls or one pound lead shot.

That boat howitzer looks better in person than in the pictures. I have most of the dimensions drawn up and am going to have it drawn up professionally. I'll send you the drawing if you want. Later,
