« on: October 30, 2005, 10:35:40 AM »
I plan to use 160s and square buckets for coon and was wondering if I could use a coni pan instead of the standard wire trigger
total for this year so far
3 grinners
2 coyotes
4 coons and
1 skunk

 so far

Hi HMR
A buddy  tryed some pans but said he had to set it up so the coon wouldhave to step up into his box.said before goin to a step up set up he was haveing small coons go in steal the bait and caught some comeing out. not sure if this will help in your situation or not.  RayA

If you can set the pan so it is at a 45 degree angle the coon won't feel restricted. We do this marten and fisher trapping and catch a lot of coons with the described method.
