Looking for a compact Muzzeloader. Any  experience with the Thompson Center Kahtadin. Or other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the longer Encore Muzzleloader and love it, but it is heavy.  Not that I can complain with the small amount of walking I do anymore.  But the other day I was in the store and a person was getting a 1-4x Leupold mounted on a Kahtadin Encore and I asked if I could see it.  Man was it short and did it handle like a dream.  Light and would be great in the brush or slippen through some standing corn.

My wife once made the mistake of telling me "all of your guns look alike"...No, I've had this gun for a long time! LOL

I have a Knight LK-93 with a 22" barrel that is very light and handy for brush hunting.  It shoots very well with the right load, 1.5" at 100.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody.  Knight still has the Wolverine line on their website.
