I posted this on another forum. I am considering a dual grip thumb hole stock. How many of you favor a thumb hole stock?

As pertains to a hunting rifle I find them detestable..slowing the bolt operation and adding little.

I'd agree with gunnut. They're great for offhand target shooting i.e. silhouette and such, but I wouldn't want one on a hunting gun.

I was considering one. After reading if you forget to take the safety off you have to remove your hand to get the safety off. I hadn't thought of that. I got a classic style stock instead.
