Encore sighting issues

Well I put a rear peep ( Williams ) on and went and tried to sight it in and of course I have problems.
At 50 yards with the blue 209X50 rifle I started 1.5 foot low so I made the adjustments and now I am hitting the 4" black circle at the bottom 1 "
and I have run out of room to adjust the peep higher, Right now it is so high on the base that when I tighten it down the base seperates from the peep with only a 3/16" left before the peep is off the top of the base.
I had to shim the base a lot to get it to hit the bottom of the 4"circle.
What should I do next? I want to keep the peep sight
Do I need a taller front sight to lower the rear?
I shoot 300 gr XTP with the Harvester sabot and have tried the other sabot from canada ( can't remember the name but they sell 25 acp breach plugs ) and use 85 gr of BM powder.
What do you guys think???

If you are hitting low you need a shorter front sight.

What can I do then to make this work?
Does Williams make a taller base for the peep?
Any ideas?

Measure your front sight and call TC. I believe they can send you a shorter one. Or, you can file the one you have and cold blue it where you filed it if it's a regular blade sight.

I called Williams sight co and they have a front sight that measures .280" which should do the trick.
I talked with T/C tech department and they say that set up that I am using should work perfectly as is and I do have the lowest sight that they make.....But he is concerned that the barrel is Bent or "not straight" as he put it and he wants the barrel back at the T/C factory and he will put it through a test with their lazer to see where the barrel is "shooting".
He said that he has seen this before and they found that the barrel was not straight.
In the mean time I have just finished filing the front sight down to .300" and will shoot it in the morning, I have enough room to file it lower if I need it but I think that where I am at would allow me to lower the rear peep to a more secure position and should be able to sight in at the distance that I need at 50-100 yards. I removed about an 1/8" from the front sight including removing the fiber optic & dovetail.

Ok I am back from the range and the results are...
I finished making my front sight and lowered the rear peep sight and set up at 50 yards using 85 grains and the XPT 300 gr with the harvester sabot. It hit the target perfect for the hight and I just moved the windage and took another shot and its impact was right on!
My zero is 1.5 - 2" high at 50
I shot a few groups at 50 and the best I got with the peep sight was 1/2" center to center!
I shot my last round at 80 yards and it hit just right of the group about 2.5" which could have been my hold as the whole front blade covers the 4" circle at that range.
Some day after the season I will have to put a scope on it to see what it will do with the aid of optics.
What a relief that it shoots great after all of the trouble I had with this one and the other Omegas that I had ( 3 ) which are long gone now.

If you mount any more than a 4 power scope, please use the Burris sigmature rings, and order the shim pack. I had to use .020 to get a 3x9 on the paper at 100 yards. There should be many archived posts on this.
