Browning A Bolt .22

I bought a .22 rimfire A Bolt rifle several years ago when they were still in production. I really like this rifle. It is one of my favorite squirrel hunting rifles. Does anyone else shoot one of these? 8)

More than a few years ago---more like 15. And --damn---I wish I would have bought one back then.

I've got one.  It is a VERY accurate gun.  I am more of a semi-auto guy when it comes to rimfires, though.  Most of the squirrels I hunt are the smaller (and more spastic!) cat squirrels.  I hardly ever see fox squirrels anymore.

Doc T,

There are no fox squirrels in this part of southeast Tennessee either. I wish there were. I do love hunting grays, though. The A Bolt .22 has made lots of meat and memories through the years.

I've got one.  Bought it new about 10 years ago and has been my only .22 other than my older 10/22.
I've been shooting the 10/22 much more often since I can carry it without worrying about scratces. I think I might want to sell my a-bolt, what do you guys think it might be worth?  It is in 90%+ condition cosmetically and 100% mechanically.  I have the 15rd mag.  Also has the prettiest stock you've ever seen on a factory rifle.  Any ideas?
