Well I put all of my hard work getting the T/C to shoot good to use Saturday and harvested a nice 8 point in Minnesota. I will try to attach a picture.

Thanks guy's
I was only in my ground blind for 20 min. in the afternoon before he walked in at 10 yards and I squeased the trigger on him at 15 yards recovery was at about 80-90 yards.
I just wish I could have had it on video as it was just so cool to have him come in.
What a hunt!

Great buck, Congratulations!!

I'm on my way out now to try and hook up with a bruiser that got chased past my stand by a little dog on monday night.  I never hunted back there before, but I'm sure convinced now!!

You are close ...11" G3's are almost 10"

I will post a picture of him when it is doen being mounted, But right now I am looking for a taxidermist that is good and still won't need a second mortgage on the house to mount it. The taxitermists in my area of southern Minnesota are very expensive @ $495 - 600
The last mounts that I had done were @ 200-250 but that was  10-12 years ago.

Do you know of any in northern Iowa?
