Nice job with the 7mm-08, I used the .260 Rem. with good results too.
What laod are you using?  I am pushing 120 Nosler BT @ 2500FPS from the 15" Encore.

Sounds like you got some good hunting ahead.

Good Luck,  rol

Isn't it a wonderful feeling? Congrats! Are you shooting factory rounds, or handloads? What kind of bullet performance did you get? Can I get some venison? Are you scoped or open sights? What length barrel are you shooting? Are you going to answer all these questions? Bet you didn't expect this did you? You do know it's common practice to send your handgun to the first 5 responders to your thread for a free trial period?

Good luck on your upcomming hunt!!

KYODE,thats a heck of a shot!Mine has the 10" like I said.I got a little flack for getting one with a "short" bbl,but looks like it does well.I had a scoped Taurus at a gun show and a fella gave me a nice trade.Fit well into my existing bandolier holster too.I may try a 22 hornet on the frame sometime,I have one in a handirifle and like the results.
