Is it worth it? Read on another site that you just run it through a FL sizer and you have the new brass. Can't be that simple, can it? I've got over 500 pieces of .308 once fire, and maybe 200 .243 pieces of brass.

Yes! Just check the length of the newly formed piece

I did the 308 to 7m-08. Your resized brass will end up somewhat shorter than regular 7m-08 brass. Mine still shot MOA groups although POI was a couple inches different than the regular/factory 7m-08. I have not tried it with 243.

When you do it, be sure to keep al of the reformed brass together, and away from any .308/.243 brass that you may still be loading.

I've tried the same thing with .270 and .280 brass to 30/06, and some 30/06 brass to .270, just to see if it could be done so easily. It can, but you must watch the length.
