Dan; The scopes mostly used in 1K benchrest are Niteforce NXS ( I like the R-2 reticle ) Or Premier boosted Leupolds. They both have good optics
and reticles. I use the NF 12-42-NXS the R-2 reticle has 2-moa stadia on the verticle crosshair and 5-moa stadia on the horizontal. They can be used for range estimation, hold over, and hold off quickly.
