TC Black powder barrels for original frame

Does anyone know for sure, did TC ever make or do they still make a black powder barrel that fits the original contender frames?  I am under the assumption that the G2 BP barrel does not fit the older style frames.
I went to the TC website and couldn't find any answers.  I am trying to get a BP barrel for my TC without going the Gonic or Bullberry custom route.

To my knowledge TC never did make a muzzleloading barrel for the Contender.  I know for a fact that the current G2 muzzleloading barrels do NOT work on the original Contender frames.

Thanks Gitzit.  I called TC and confirmed exactly what you said.  I bought a barrel from Midway and the way they have the description written makes you think it will fit the older frames.  It does not and now I'll need to return it or buy a G2 frame.  Bummer.

i seem to remember reading, how some guy made his new g-2, black powder barrel fit his contender, by removing a pin? i have no first hand experience with this, but it may be worth looking into. if i had one....... i would make mine work!
 let us know how it works, as i want one too. how much did your b-p barrel cost?
