So, what is the best deal going for a good rangefinder for longer range shooting?

Looking at the Leica, the bushnell elite 1500 and the nikon.
Does the Bushnell elite pass muster.

Can't afford the swarovski.

Get the Nikon Monarch 800, It's a real nice rangefinder I'm glad I got it.

I can not comment on the Leica, but between the Bushnell and the Nikon's, I like the Nikon's better.  The glass seems nicer and more compact, which I like.  As Wolfe stated, the Nikon 800 is a very nice model, but the new Nikon 1200 is a great rangefinder.

I have a Leica and like it real well.  But  for the hunting I do there are at least several others that, for the ranges I use them, would work just as well at a lower price.
