anyone tried a 7.62x39 to 6mmppc conversion on a mini 30?I would be interested in trying this ,thanx

the point of all this is :(a)short action lefthanded bolt  are either tough to find or expensive(B)the6 ppc with 85 and 90grn would be similer to243win performance.
i would hope for a little improvement in the accurasy dept also.

seen a ruger mini 14 style rifle in 308 in an old gun digest was called a ruger xgi, i think, never made production i guess, thers always the m1 garand or m 14 when more power is needed.

I have SS Mini 6/mmPPC w/Clark laminate stock.It's bull barrel full length w/larger gas block & 4.5 X 14 30/mm leupold long range scope. I make my brass from lapua .220 russian . 8)
