Hi I have 45/70 guide gun 2to4 scope where do you folks sight in at ... 50 yards or 100. I plan to use this black bear hunting over bait shots 100 yards at the most. Thanks Slim

If that is the case, sight in at 100 yd and check to make sure where you are at 50 yd. 25 yd will be roughly the same as your 100 yd...

I sighted my 450 marlin in at 70 yds thinking in the brush where I use it that would be a long shot. Then I fire at a hundred yrd target and it hits in the exact same spot with the same groups. Im happy with this setup and it works for me

I zeroed my 450 @ 1" @ 100yds. I took a buck at around 130yds and hit pretty much where I was aiming (head).
