CVA .32 tuned up!
« on: November 25, 2005, 09:04:25 AM »
Got her tuned! After re-adjusting sights I'm shooting under !" groups at 100 feet. 3-3 rd. groups 20gr....3 at 25gr.......3 at 30gr. with no difference at that distance. I'm using 3F Goex (thanks Slamfire) .310 Hornady RB, and .015 pillow ticking. This little feller is an outstanding shooter! Sounds like a 50 Cal. with no kick at all. Would like to chrono this bad boy. Anybody have any chronograph data they would like to share? Also thanks to everyone who shared knowledge with me. IT HELPED!      Rick

I tried for a few tree rats before re-adjustments......didn't get any, but I scared 'em good. I was surprized at how changing powder & patch would make such a difference. Was shooting 2" high with 3f. Tomarrow I'll own a few. Yum Yum! Squirrel & dumplings tomarrow!
