Leupold Zero Point Bore Sighter

How do you use this thing ?

 After sighting in rifle its still not zeroed but rifle shoots

I can't tell you much about a bore sighter except it only gets you on the paper and you will still need to sight in the gun by firing rounds. When I mount a scope I sight through the barrel at a target item and adjust the scope to the same spot. I then shoot it at 25 yds to get it closer, than move the target to whatever range I will sight the gun in at.
