7X64 big bark, bigger bite
« on: November 21, 2005, 12:55:25 PM »
I dropped a seven point whitetail today with the 7X64 Brenneke. One shot behind the shoulder and he hit the ground like a ton of bricks. I was very impressed and the shot was over 100 yards... I was shooting Remington factory loads in a 140 grain...This makes ten deer with ten different calibers in the Handi Rifle...The 7X57 goes hunting tomorrow...
