Surfing the web and I saw this drawing of the 30-30 Gibbs.  An improved 30-30 with the same neck length as the .300 savage.

Howdy-the gibbs is ballistically similar to the AI in 30-30. I believe the AI version has the benifit of being able to shoot standart 3030 ammo without ballistic drop and the Gibbs shoots only gibbs. I chose the 30-30AI in Marlin realidahorock
