Side Lock Switch?

Hello all!   :D

For some time I have entertained the idea of converting a Side Lock muzzleloader to one with a Mule Ear Lock.   The only mass produced Mule Ear lock, that I know of, is the one offered by Deer Creek in one of their kits.   Has anyone attempted/done this type of conversion; what is involved?

Hello all!   :D

I recently received an email informing me that besides Deer Creek, Mule Ear Locks are also available from Pioneer Arms.
