Model 97 "field grade"

I wish FA would offer their 97's in a "field grade". I actually prefer the subdued finish of the field grades. I know you could probably have a 97 refinished in a field grade finish, but if they offered it new that way you wouldn't have to pay for all the fancy polished finish. And maybe help bring the price down alittle. Anyone else have any intrest?

I sure do.
I would love to have a second model 97.
My premier grade is not polished at all, it is a very well done brushed finish.

That "very well done brushed finish" is polished.  And most likely it was polished by the wonderfully friendly and helpful lady who answers the phone at FA.  She sits and polished guns between calls, or so I have been told.

Are you sure they don't?  Finish-wise.

You can get a matte finish on a premiere grade.  I'm not sure they will do it on a 97, but could swear I've seen one or two ...
