My stock one looks pretty hammered, Also the frame is getting hammered. Bought the gun used, so  i dont know exactly how many shots through it, but  im figuring its alot. The wolf hi= power is 1# heavyer than stock i believe. Thanks- Tad

Wollf springs are generally very good, I 've used them on 45 Colt & clones.  If things are looking hammered,  you should consider seeing a Glock armorer, chances are, you won't regret it. :D

Glock Main Spring??

Tad, the Glock does not have a main spring like say a 1911 or BHP.
Perhaps you are refering to the striker spring or the recoil spring?

I'm sure the recoil spring is the one in question here. I replace the recoil springs on my Glocks when I replace the guide rods with the stainless ones. That's when I get it home! My mdl21 has several thousand rounds thru it with NO signs of battering. I have  both the captive and noncaptive types. For extended range sessions with full power duty ammo I use the 21# springs, for IDPA or pratice I use the 19#. By the way I also changed the striker spring to 6.5# for absolutely positive ignition. This used in conjunction with the 3.5# connector gives a good crisp trigger pull of about 4.5#. No doubt your recoil spring needs replacement if you are experiencing battering of the frame! I have also seen buffers for the Glocks.
