Buck Knife Company Question
« on: October 19, 2005, 02:25:07 PM »
Anyone have experience with sending in a knife to them for repairs?  I've got a Buckmaster 184 that is in serious need of refurbishing.  The pommels are missing, the edge is bad, and a few saw teeth are broken.  It's a great knife, and I'd like to send it to them, but I also don't want to waste my time or money.  I tried the call them, but I can never get anyone on the phone except the receptionist.

All the information you need is at their website http://www.buckknives.com.
Since your's is a discontinued knife, their policy is that they will fix it if they can(if there are still parts etc); if not, they offer the next currently available model...plus you pay the price differential, of course.  Sounds like yours is about totalled, but send them an e-mail if you can't get anyone on the phone(who can, these days), and see what they say.

BamBams,
Try this site: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/
There is a Buck section, and it is frequented by the owner (Chuck Buck), and several Buck high level employees. They should be able to answer your question there.
