GB has so many, I can't keep up with them all...
Anyway, I guess maybe we are all crazy or does anyone else keep a "bugout" bag prepared? Ours aren't really "survival bags", they are more like "get back to the US in a hurry bags". Each kid and the wife have a duffel bag with three or four sets of clothes, extra shoes, towel, washcloth, toiletries etc. Passports and ID's are all kept together in one place so they are easy to find. Each kid has a 1.5 liter bottle of water in their bag too. Just in case for whatever reason, they gotta skedaddle out of here they won't be the ones in the airport with NOTHING but their clothes.
When we were in MD and they were talking about major terror strikes and possible dirty bombs etc a couple of years ago... all this stayed in the truck along with a full gas tank and a box of snack food, a tent, a coleman stove, propane bottles and other camping supplies. Included were a 12 ga 11-87 and a .45 auto with ammo for each. Mom's orders were if I called or she heard of a strike in the area to head in the opposite direction at a high rate of speed without asking questions or waiting for me.
So am I crazy, paranoid or just prepared?
