T/C Renegade nipple

I have a T/C Renegade in .54, I got the nipple a little cross threaded and the nipple lays over a fraction to where the hammer rubs the nipple where the cap goes. Does anyone know the size of the nipple or what the best thing to do to fix this problem would be?

Send it back to TC...they'll fix it under the lifetime warranty at no charge...if you cross-threaded it you definitely don't want to shoot it any more until TC fixes it or the next noise you hear might be that nipple entering your brainpan...TC will probably have to replace the breechplug.

Call and discusss it with Service Manager Tim Pancurak...603-332-2333... do not discuss it with anybody else...just the service manager...the 'clerks' may try to talk you out of it but Tim will do the right best thing for you.

Dustan......Your getting good advice, and it's only good advice if you take it. I also remember a saying my Dad taught me long ago..........When your stupid, your whole body suffers. If we reflect on our lives we realize the majority of the times we get hurt, we're doing something stupid. Don't try to rig this gun, have it repaired proper. A nipple entering your head at 1500 fps will make your whole body suffer. Rick
