mine is .25 cal, and has more than enough power for any small game. It has a Maccari Monolith kit in it, and shoots 21 gr Dianas at 820+ fps. Its quite accurate, even through the open sights, and can reach way out there to 70+ yards and still have plenty of hitting power left. The only real serious problem I've heard of is actually a relatively minor problem if caught beforehand. The stock screws that are installed by the factory are notoriously weak, and the recoil of the Patriot can and will break them off. This can be avoided by simply replacing them with harder screws before they break. Other than that, if you don't mind the high cocking effort the Webley is a very competent hunting rifle. However, don't expect to spend an afternoon plinking with it.
