Here are a couple of beaver pics . I said I wouldnt be trapping any beaver this spring as the prices do not justify it , but , had a phone call last weekend . You know what that means . This guy has called me for about the past 10 years to take beaver out of his lake .There are alot of houses on this lake and one end of it is actually in a small town . In the past beaver sign was obvious , but now there are more houses and private property on the lake and its getting harder . The guy that called me has one of the best spots though as a creek runs through his yard and the ice goes out there first and the beaver seem to like his boat house that goes over the creek . I went over there on Sunday and put in three sets , 2 #330s and 1#4 castor mound loaded with Lenons beaver lure . I got the call today (Mon.) that I had a beaver . I drove over there and under the boathouse was a beaver in a #330 . The lady of the house told me she didnt look at the other sets . We walked around the boathouse and there was a foot and a tail poking out of the water . I had gotten two beavers overnite about 20 yards apart , one in a #330 and one at a castor mound . Both weighing about #35-#45 . I dont charge these people anymore as we became good friends over the years but he does buy my lisence every year to trap .

The foothold pics didnt turn out but that beaver was the same size as this one .
