Model 925 Stocks

Howdy Boys,  :D

I've been lurking around here for a while now and have been impressed with all of your knowledge, so I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer for me.

Does the Model 925 from Wal-Mart, not the Model 925M, come with a checkered stock?  I looked at one at Cabela's yesterday and it had no checkering whatsoever :x .  All of the pictures that I have seen (on Wal-Mart's and Marlin's websites) show the stocks being checkered.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys might be able to give.

925 checkered stock

mine has a factory checkered stock but I got it from a pawn shop 75.00 out the door

Got my 925 from Walmart last year. It has a press-checkered, walnut finished hardwood stock.
