Hi,
I have traded around and ended up with both an Encore and Contender barrel in 223. Have had real good luck with the Contender but have never fired the Encore yet, in fact I think the barrel is new. Anyway just wondered if some of you had tried both barrels and had a preference. I was thinking the Encore being heavier would have less recoil. Not that the Contender recoils that much but thought it might keep the scope on target during recoil better. I like my Contender grips better than the Encore. Let me know what your experience has been.
