For some reason I could not vote but I still have guns and she is gone and she said the guns were the reason! I am better off with the guns by a long shot!
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

While listing my guns on a computer disk last week, for insurance purposes.  The wife asked me to list her guns also.  She went and brought them into the room where I was working.  Roughly one third of the pistols she brought into the room I had never seen before.  I did not know she liked Glocks, or even had one, let alone two.  Three Lady Smiths, and a Ruger hammerless revolver.  Wow where did she get those.  Then she wheels in an aluminium case and inside is an Anschutz Freestyle.  Her comment was "While you are out hunting, I go and shoot with the kids (my son's rifle team) at the range".  In fact my last two guns were bought by her for me.  She bought me an Encore, and a Mini thirty to match my Mini fourteen.  If I want a new gun?

 NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

My wife is an avid a hunter/shooter as I am.  She not only supports my collecting certain rifles, shotguns and handguns she adds to the collections from time to time.  She has a number of rifles, shotguns and handguns of her own.  She loves fishing, especially Bass fishing, and would rather go camping than shop.  Lawdog

My wife grew up in rural West Virginia and is not anti gun by any means. She has no problem with me having guns in the house or acquiring new ones as long as our bills are payed first.   Although she does plink with me on occasion I would not call her an enthusiast.  I think she would rather read a book or go on a hike.

Mine tags along about like Bretts.  She doesn't mind guns in the house, knows how to utilize 90% of the ones that I do have, and shoots the 1991A1 better than I do.  She also is the proud owner of a Mini-14, 22mag Marlin bolt action, and (I guess) the aforementioned 1911A1  ...

I wouldn't want to irritate her with one in her hands. 8)

She doesn't mind me buying, as long as the bills are paid up.  And that isn't too often, or at least not often enough for me.

My wife is cool with me owning guns, although she doesn't understand why one gun can't do every thing.

Hi Wolfsong, :D
I guess, you could put it this way; One knife in the kitchen, can't do it all.
That's the reason why so many varied knives are found in the kitchen.
Sure can't fix your truck with only one tool.
Same with guns. One can't do it all. Few can come close. Like tools, one tools can't do it all, either. Some of my tools at work, are specialized. Otherwise, the equipment don't or can't get repaired/fixed
So, the basics are, varied for different jobs or hunting.
Think your next handgun should be a 44 magnum. Either a single action,or a double action. Your choice.
That's the way I look at it.
Excuse me, "A Few Dollars More" is on.
Bye :D

Just tell her that you don't understand why one payer of shoes can't do it all.  Better check how comfortable the couch is first though.
