International orders
« on: November 27, 2005, 09:01:31 PM »
Hi Veral,
I just received your catalog. I am new to casting and would like to order your book and the hardness tester for starters. However, on the order form is stated that no charge cards can be accepted.  Is this still the case?
My reason for asking is that international money orders are quite expensive with Belgian banks. If charge cards can still not be accepted, we'll have to work out something else won't we
TIA for your reply.

Hello Veral and garagist!

I am from Germany and I am playing with the idea of ordering a mold from Veral for some time.
The most practical way for me is getting the money overseas with PayPal. It is by far the fastest, cheapest and a safe way for both parts.
Now we just need to convince Veral to accept a payment through their service.

I'm sorry, but we have never set up for either pay-pal or credit card payment, so it does make foriegn payments a bit difficult.  Several ways to pay are, Western Union telegraph money transfer.  travelers checks, and U.S. cash.  If cash payment sounds scary, we have never had a cash payment lost in 20 years of business.  There haven't been a lot of them, but all who've sent that way have been sucessful.  U.S. dollars are available at all foriegn banks dealing paper money, and the exchange rate is the only cost.  If you do send cash, wrap it with aluminum kitchen foil so it can't be scanned, then your letter or order form, and send registered mail, without stating contents, or state the contents as letter.  We have to ship to many countries by registered mail when insurance isn't availabe, and it is the safest way to mail, because every person who handles it signs for it, or it is locked in a safe when not moving.
