First reload, first day out, one shot and it was down.
« on: December 05, 2005, 03:03:27 AM »
Reloaded some ammo a few weeks back for the first time.  Used Remington Brass, Remington Core-Lokt 150 grain, and IMR 4350.  Hadn't had a chance to try out the reloads until this past Saturday evening.  Only needed one drop a nice big Doe.

Just wanted to drop a thanks to the forum for the info I picked up on here to help me better understand the aspects of reloading.

Nothing like taking one with one that you rolled yourself. Congrats.  :D

Congratulations!

Nothing beats taking game with your very own "custom designed" ammo.

Good work.
There's nothing better than having developed a load yourself and then finding it successful.
It legitimises your choice, reasoning and logic.
Also gives you a feeling of superiority over those lazy everyday joes who hunt with whatever the shelf at the local gunshop turns up. :D
