My family broke down and outright asked me to make a list of items for Christmas this year, after struggling to surprise me with something I really wanted for years. I was picking out bullets for my 30-30 for the long range cowboy match, and noticed that the Speer bullets have ballistic coefficients much higher than the other manufacturers. While their bullets do look a bit sleeker in the pictures, I'm not so sure they look
that much sleeker. Is Speer inflating the BCs listed for their bullets? Anyone know? The ones I'm specifically looking at these two:
Hot-Cor 130 grainers (pigs, turkeys):

my chicken bullet to practice on paper with. The difference in BC and the relatively few that I'll use other than matches would make it worth it to pay more for less wind drift in our often windy conditions here in western WA.
