Lyman Great Plaines barrel--Need Stock
« on: December 10, 2005, 06:39:55 AM »
Hello, I have a barrel made by Barrel maker Ed Rayl that fits a Lyman Great Plaines rifle.(.45 cal, 1 in 20 twist for lyman 457125 mold bullet) I had a brain fart and sold the orriginal .54 cal set up at a gun show.  I thought I needed something else more. Don't even remember what it was now. I am getting tired of it setting in my closet collecting dust. So it's either sell it or  assemble another stock for it. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this problem. I checked at Lyman and I might as well by a whole gun instead of using thier parts.

Just buy the whole gun. Get it in .54 cal Round call twist so that way you'll have both a large round ball and a fast bullet barrel for different uses.
