Slugs for USH 20 gauge....
« on: December 07, 2005, 04:37:02 AM »
I've searched through here looking for what rounds to try when my new 20 gauge USH gets here.  I've seen several mentioned multiple times.  What would you try first?   And in 2-3/4" or 3"?
Thanks.

Slugs for USH 20 gauge....

Thanks - after comparing all the 20 gauge sabot rounds available I was able to find a few of them at a local gun shop.  I've only bought one kind for now and they were 2nd on my list of rounds to try.  If they work out I'll stop with them - 3" Federal Vital-Shok with Barnes Expander bullet.  Ballistics on them appear to be awesome.  If they do work out I'll buy a couple of extra boxes, but I am definitely going to try out the new Hornady 250 grain SST next fall when it comes out.

My 20 gauge likes the Light fields and the Remington copper solids. I only use the 2 3/4.  :D
