Camo Handi at Dick's Sporting Goods
« on: October 16, 2009, 04:28:01 PM »

Dick's has the Handi with camo stock and 4-12x40 scope mounted for $249.99. Only have 223, 22-250 and 308.  Is this a good buy?  They say the regular price is $399.99 - $150 = 249.99.

I would say that it is a good price but the $399.99 is a bit high IMO.
I see the same guns at one of my local CANDY SHOPS in the $259.00 to $289.00 range.

I bought one from Dick's at Columbia Mo in 223 bull .It shoots great but the scope is so-so. I can't get the parellex come in clear. The scope is worth what it cost. ::)

Yea $399. if they could get it. I bought one in 223. I wanted the stocks and the 1:9 twist. Wish they'd take the scope and $50. off and I'd get one in 308. I'm lookin for a better scope to see if that is why I shoot 1.5 inch then one hole then 1.5". Probably me. Same load. Gonna try again. Seems to be a fair price. Don't count the scope.

26-t I bet that brass problem is with the Dicks camo 223 isn't it? Mine does the same thing. Have to try that fix.

You still might be able to find a 10% and $20 additional discount coupons from Dick's to make it even cheaper. My local stocks 223, 22-250 and the 308. The certainly look sweet and handle well. Now if I could just find a job to go with those rifles...they wouldn't be in stock long.

If you don't have a Dicks credit card you can sign up and get 90 days same as cash to pay for the gun. Then there are some confusing to me points certificates that I hope I used. Then it went on sale and they credited me the diff. The scope was damaged and they gave me another. First dealings with Dicks and it turned out better than most with others. All in all I'll be happy with the gun if I can just sell the scope for $250.00 :D
