Has anyone used this ammo and then reloaded the cases? I heard that the brass is not good for reloading but I've used the 45 Auto brass for years with no problems - I don't know if the rifle brass will be different. I'm specifically planning on buying the 30-06 150gr stuff.

It should be the same brass as other Federal cartridges. It would cost more to make different brass. The cost savings is with the bullets and powder not the brass.

I've used it in 44 magnum. It is perfectly good. However, in the case of 44 magnum Federal brass has the reputation of having a smaller case capacity than other brands. This can mean higher pressures. Be sure to check into this for your cartridges. It's not a bad thing, but it means that the maximum charge will probably be smaller than for another brand of brass that has a larger case capacity. I have no idea of whether this applies to Federal bottleneck cases.

Use it and enjoy it...and when it gives-out, buy yourself a couple of hundred pieces of brass from any manufacturer, as long as it all has the same lot number.
