Slow twist Encore barrels

Where do you get slow twist encore barrels. I need a .224 cal.  with a 8" twist.  Would like to get it with no chamber and have it chambered.  Going to a 22-243 tight neck to shoot 80gr.  Sierra's.

My factory 6.5 x 55 Encore barrel has a 8" twist.  So far the most accurate bullet is 120 gr Sierras at less than one inch. 95 gr ballistic tips and 140 Hornadys usally fall in the 1" to 1.25" category.  You might check with Fox Ridge as they make custom barrels for Encores.  I have been happy with a Stainless heavy 7mm-08 I ordered from them.

okiecat- any of the custom houses such as match grade, bullberry or ott  can mke a barrel with any twist. It may take a while depending on whether they have the blank. they will also do the chamber work again depending on wheither they hae the  reamer.
