They must have some pretty awsome guns because I know the contenders used to rule the roost from what I have heard in the past. I have never been to one of those matches but have read about the contenders doing well in the past. Maybe you can eleborate for us what they are using? Jim

Yea they sound pretty specialized I guess I was thinking of the shoots at the metal targets like rams and such. I suppose to compete you would have to buy or have a rifle built.From what I have read about 22 rims making a difference on how each one shoots I suppose having adjustable headspacing and measuring your ammo rims and separating them would make quite a difference as far as ultra tight groups go just to give you that extra edge.
