there is a guy in durand that has a big chunk of land that he manages.  a guy i know goes there and hunts every year, and kills a giant buck every year.   it is more like shooting than hunting.  never the less,  they are wild deer.   i guess the guy owns like 6 square miles and only hunts 1/3 or it, the othere 2/3 is off limits to all.  

a co worker was invited down there to help thin out does, the first drive he said over 125 does ran out.   almost makes a guy sick.   with places like that,  it is no wonder the dnr has goofy regulations.
