New sights for the Henry Golden Boy
« on: December 18, 2005, 05:13:35 AM »
I just got my Henry back from the gunsmiths, I had a Marbles Tang sight put on. I really liked the gun but didn't like the original buck horn sights all that much. I guess they were period correct. I had a hard time focusing on a target with them [old and tired eye syndrom] With the addition of the tang sight I am able to keep tight and repeatable groups. The Henry could very well be my new favorite rimfire rifle................Jim

My grandson has a Henry Golden Boy.  He's getting a Marbles for Christmas.
We shoot Lever-Action Silhouette and he beats me pretty bad already.

I won't have a chance when he gets the Marbles installed.

I also changed the front sight to a .450 high .531 wide, 3/32 white bead, I found the 1/16 gold bead to be to small. It worked better with the buck horns as well...........Jim
